THE SEASON'S BEST FALL BOOTS
Boots are a cornerstone of every fall and winter wardrobe, and they come in so many styles that it’s often impossible to pick just one. Last year, it was all about the flat boot. The year before that it was all about a classic block heel. This year? I want to try a lug sole bootie, one with a little heel and laces instead of a slip on. I’m eyeing this one from Madewell in black. But I also love this very elegant high heel ankle bootie from Loeffler Randall Whatever your style is, don’t worry – my fall boot edit has it.
Not everyone wants to be running around in a heel all the time, I get it. But luckily there are plenty of stylish flat options, too! Stuart Weitzman is my all-time favorite tall boot. They have a stretch panel that creates a snug fit on your calf, so no gaping at the top. A pet peeve of mine. You get the lug-sole with the ease of a slip-on from this Sam Edelman bootie. I also LOVE this flat bootie from Loeffler Randall.
Statement Boot
Maybe you’re ready for a little more drama in your closet? A beautiful, printed pair of boots is an easy way to dress up your evening. These are an absolute showstopper. I’m picturing them with ankle-length black jeans and a crisp blazer. How about these? The chunky block heels means you’ll look chic without sacrificing comfort.
Tall boots are turning out to be one of the trends of the season, whether you’re going for a flat riding pair or a more dramatic heel. This black Boden pair with a gold buckle detail is perfectly equestrian. This Loeffler Randall pair gives you combat boots vibes thanks to the slightly raised lug sole. J.Crew’s high black boot has a relatively small block heel, so you can actually walk around in them!
I hope you are enjoying the fall season! It’s definitely my favorite season in terms of clothing , pumpkin spice lattes and comfort food!
Until next time,
